Dr. Katie Post, DDS
American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM)
Dr. Katie Post is a highly experienced dentist who has been providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients in the Rochester community for over 20 years. She has practiced general dentistry at Northwest Dental Group since the beginning of her career and has since developed a strong focus on Dental Sleep Medicine—helping patients improve their sleep and overall health through custom oral appliance therapy.
Dr. Post earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where she received advanced training in complex patient care.
Demonstrating her deep commitment to excellence in sleep dentistry, Dr. Post has completed both Master I and Master II Programs through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM)—the highest level of education in the United States for Dental Sleep Medicine. She is recognized for her clinical expertise in treating obstructive sleep apnea, especially in patients who are CPAP-intolerant or seeking a more comfortable solution.
Dr. Post takes a collaborative approach to care, working closely with sleep physicians and medical providers to ensure each patient receives comprehensive, evidence-based treatment tailored to their needs. Her goal is to help patients achieve restful sleep and improved quality of life through non-invasive, effective oral sleep appliance therapy.
When not in the office, Dr. Post remains active in continuing education and is a respected voice in the dental sleep medicine community.
Dr. Vander Broek, DDS, MAGD, MICIODDS, MAGD, MICIO
Dr. Vander Broek earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Michigan. He completed a general practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center and research fellowships at the National Institutes of Health and the University of Michigan Medical School, contributing to multiple publications in oral pathology. He also completed a one-year dental implant externship through SUNY Stony Brook and has accumulated over 1,000 hours of continuing education, achieving Mastership in both the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He currently serves as President of the Southeastern District Dental Society of the Minnesota Dental Association and volunteers on the boards of the Zumbro Valley Dental Society, the University of Minnesota Extension Regional Sustainable Development Partnership, and CHAMPs in Haiti. He has provided over 500 volunteer hours at the Rochester Salvation Army Good Samaritan Dental Clinic and has twice received the American Dental Association’s International Volunteer Service Award for his work in several countries.
Dr. Vander Broek is certified in oral and inhaled sedation, local anesthetic, CPR/AED/first aid, and has extensive training in OSHA/HIPAA compliance, implant dentistry, dental crowns, and Invisalign.
Dr. Lim, DDS
Dr. Lim graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Neuroscience and received his dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He provides excellent comprehensive dental care, including implants, crowns, Invisalign, and facial aesthetics.
At the University of Maryland, he was part of the Periodontal clerkship and Gamma Pi Delta prosthodontic honor society, and was awarded American Academy of Periodontal and Academy of General Dentistry Dental student award, and Dean’s research award.
Dr. Lim is passionate about research and keeping up with the latest dental technologies. His interests include dental implants, neuropathic pain, imaging, and biomaterials. He has published in internationally recognized journals, including Nature, Neuroscience, and Journal of Pain, and presented his studies at the International Association of Dental Research on dental implants and periodontology.
